The game will appear antiquated in playing style, but remember that this is a remake of an old computer game. This game was and is a masterpiece, and the audio problems others are having is gone of Rome.

Bought the game with high hopes based on reviews. Flow and actions dont make much sense even with hints. If you want good point and click adventure go for hector and monkey island series.

A beautiful classic. I love how the iPhone version uses portrait orientation. A beautiful game with beautiful story. It animates as if it is a powerpoint slide show but for me it is a artistic choice. It rarely crashes. Some touch control might be a little quirky. But this is an amazing game. A classic that still holds up well today. Buy it.

Excellent update of an old favorite. Game mechanics improved for use with iPhone/pad. Id love to see more retro adventure games for iOS.

I have been playing graphic adventure games since 1989 (initially on my Amiga 500), so its refreshing to see these games been brought back to life on iOS. This said, The Last Express is by far the worst in this category: terrible controls, super-low quality graphics (ever heard of remastering?) and somehow even requires a humongous amount of disk space (1.3GB). Buyers beware: play Monkey Island, Broken Sword, or even Simon the Sorcerer or Beneath a Steel Sky before remotely considering this game.

This is one of my favorite game in iPad and highly recommend this. If you enjoy detective/adventure type of game, you will definitely enjoy this one.

Although there is enough space on my iPad (3GB) it is impossible to download the game. Every time I try I get the error message that there is not enough space. I restarted the iPad several times, deleted the app, reinstalled it, deleted content but still it doesnt work. It would be great to have support as this game seems to be very good.

This is a unique point and click adventure that has a truly engrossing story. It is unique because the other characters go about their business whether or not you decide to take action or not. This is different than most adventure games, where only your actions affect the events going on, but in this game, characters move and events unfold in real time, making it all the more immersive. Definitely worth the buy if you enjoy period piece thrillers.

This is really great. If youre a fan of point and click adventure games, this ones for you. The story is a little confusing at first, and youll probably have to restart a few times to get to the end, but when you do youll find the story really picks up. The touch sensitivity is a little off, but nothing horrible. And the fact that the whole game is in real time is great and really makes you think about your decisions. All in all this is pretty fantastic. Bravo.

Hasnt been easy to find over the years, especially Mac versions. Had to delete all my music off my phone to play but totally worth it.

What an incredible waste of $$$$$

This is great, just like it was when it first came out. Only a few iOS glitches (especially when you try to resume game after a break) but other than that no complaints.

for starters im a huge a.christie and those type of books and point&click adventure game fan, but this one let me down big time. i wasnt expecting much, but the graphics could definitely be better for a 2012 game. the gameplay is hard to control and even if you get used to it, it doesnt satisfy you at all, it is definitely a failure. other than these very bad gameplay and not even decent graphics, the story is nice and real time characters are a nice touch. but id say this isnt worth paying that much money, i only finished it cuz i paid it. i dont recommend this game at all for serious point&click adventure game players.

An absolutely splendid adaptation of my favorite game ever.

Superbly captures the romance and mystery of the Orient Express. I hope to see more games like it!

Very interesting

Story heavy, narrative driven puzzles yet puzzle-box light. The real-time mechanics are brilliant and the atmosphere is without equal. A must play.

But so far, engrossing enough to be worth the $5
